Yep. I love UT and hate UF and Gainesville, but Florida is more committed to athletics than UT is. And their fan base is much bigger than ours. As mentioned yesterday, east TN are all Vols, but Nashville and Memphis don't feel much of a connection to UT, as a whole. Trust me, I live out here.

Just not true...at all. Shelby County alone, much less the rest of West TN, has an enormous amount of faithful Vols fans. I don't where you guys get this. I was at a relatively small party last night with at least 7 UT grads. We just want to win.

Sure the grads are VFL, however, drive down the road and count the Memphis logos vs the UT logos. I would wager there's as many Mississippi/Bama/Arkansas logos as there are Vol logos.
