The point is that if Gruden isn't announced in the next few days, it's not Gruden. The longer we wait, the more likely it's due to the fact that the person they're getting/are in contact with is coaching somewhere else and will likely want to finish out the season there to avoid "distractions".

Obviously John Currie is not going to be announcing a new coach today. That would be completely ridiculous I have not been paying as close attention to this thread because it was causing me blood pressure problems. If he does have someone already in place he would never come out and announce the new hire on the same day that he announced the firing of the previous coach. The “search“ has to go on for a period of time to give the appearance that people were interviewed and that he did his due diligence on finding the best candidate. I am guessing one week.

Not saying they announce anything today, but expect this to be quick.
