Losing sucks. We want to see progress in fixing what is plainly seen. However my opinion is that we’re going to have to watch this team two more times under Butch Jones. Then the question becomes, has this all been real or just another dream.

I've read every single post in these threads and paid very close attention. I'm keeping an open but also realistic mind. There is a lot of educated guessing and speculation being talked about as facts in here. The fact is there is VERY little that is actual proven concrete truth. The house, the plane, the MOU, the salary, the list, and I could go on and on, none of it has been officially proven. At the end of the day there has been zero communication from the AD, Butch is still coaching, and not a single coach has publicly said they're interested. Trust me, I want to believe as much as all of you and I'm remaining cautiously optimistic, but be very careful about reading everything posted on here as facts. I desperately hope Gruden will be our next coach, but I'm also not setting myself up for an epic letdown by trusting message board fodder. Love y'all. :hi:

Very well said. I have allowed myself to get swept up into all of this, but I think it's starting to make sense again, and unfortunately, the same sense it made 5 years ago.

I think he’s here until he’s not bowl eligible. Which means at the end of the season. He beats vandy, I think the apr gets us in a bowl at 5-7.

Not throwing it all out, but this is increasingly playing out like 2012.

Still confident about Butch (thanks, SFD) but we have had too many insiders this week drop this and that nuggets and personally, I feel like I listened to these guys a smidge too much.

If I ever talk about a situation in my life being 'fluid', I want someone to punch me right in the face.

That is an easy out for people who are not as connected as they like or if they are outright lying.

Don’t get me wrong, I expect we will ride this pathetic coach through vandy. Then when not only the wheels but also the chassis falls off, we will dump him. Hope it’s not too late for recruiting

Mine went to less than 1% late last week when I heard the VQ podcast and then saw that interview Gruden did. I’m now at 0%.

I just don’t see Gruden wanting to take over a program that needs at least a two year rebuild.

We just got waxed by a team that was 1-4 in the SEC.

Morning all. What a lions den last night. I don’t expect any good news today but it sure would be nice. I completely buy in to keeping him as the interim and stuff but man, these kids need some hope too. I feel like they get lost in all of this.

Who he hires will show how much he and the boosters care. Butch wrote this seasons script long ago, Currie is too late to edit.
