If all the VQ staff thinks the Vols get whipped tonight and Hubbs discreetly mentions something about happening tomorrow, then that makes me think that he's be notified that tonight's game is it for Butch.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't against the rules to push the guy into the ball like that?

I hope this is the last year we have to worry about getting dragged by Mizzou for a long time. Good chance we are 2-4 against them all time after today. How ridiculous.

Agreed.
We fired a coach 1 yr after winning the East. Now posters trying to convince me that winning it once every 3 or 4 yrs is an awesome future. But don't expect to beat Saban even half the time because that's not realistic.
Screw that. I want to win and big!

Enough to keep him here with 9 win seasons, maybe an occasionally east championship and an outside chance at a possible playoff run. We would eventually get upset that he couldn’t take us all the way and we would fire him, a la Mark Richt.

If Mullen is in our back pocket while we aim higher then great, I’m all for Mullen, but he’s not in my top 3.

Is this Jerry Punch doing play by play with Tubberville Iowa State game?

This is the worst tandem I’ve ever heard. Punch sounds like he’s going to fall asleep at any moment.

You didn't ask me but I'd guess he'd average 9 regular season wins over 5 years. That's including a 7 win season next year.

Who do you think we have a legitimate shot at getting in your opinion? I want to believe we can get a homerun hire this time.

I, personally, don't have much faith in the AD getting this right. History says they will hire an unimpressive coach with an average record. I hope they prove me wrong.

Hubbs hinted that he was lead to believe that about the KY game as well.

It’s butch’s offense and most play calls. The first play of the game against SC was off script. Thanks to LS.
