The fact that some of you can't handle others saying he may be great but it's not a guarantee, is weird.
It's like the Grudenites. Sometimes it seems like they think its a Disney plot. If we don't all believe, somehow it won't happen.

Disney/ESPN connection a total coincidence :)

In general, these are my expectations for Tennessee football. There are ebbs and flows, but this is where things need to be as a minimum standard.

1. Losses to KY and Vandy are unacceptable. I don’t care how good they get. We NEVER let them pass us.

2. Domination over USC and Mizzou. A loss to one of them every 3 years is permissible

3. Competitive against all East opponents. No 40 point losses like UGA this year. By gosh... be in the ballpark

4. At least one win against Florida, Georgia, or Bama annually. Continue to climb till we win 2/3, more likely when Saban leaves. He’s raised the bar so high.

5. Division champion every 3-4 years. Won’t discuss winning that game till we improve or Bsma declines.

6. Establish 75% win ratio over SEC West teams not named Bama.

7. 9 win average over time.

There's no such thing as a guarantee. No one is unable to handle anyone saying he isn't a guarantee.

Muschamp is doing good things here in Columbia. If UT and UF make the right hires the East is about to become the best division in the SEC

I was never sold on Mac. He wasn't a fit from day one at UF. In response to OP, no way you fire Mac to hire Bobo. Search waon go past Strong. He's probably 5th on the possible list. Vegas pulled the UF search odds so something is about to happen. My guess is Kelly checked out with UF compliance and SEC office cleared him.

A. That's not Vegas

B. They pulled our odds too

C. The odds jumped because Florida fans were betting on Kelly. Same thing happened to us and Gruden.

They pulled Gruden odds to UT a week or so ago too. They are back now. Sorry to burst your bubble there sparky.

I like Mullen, and it would be interesting to see what he could do with UT's resources. Sexton has opened the door. But MSU is going to make it a bidding war and Sexton will make contractual demands that UT is going to resist. If UT can get Taggart, Fuente or one of Currie's mystery candidates on more favorable terms, will we go there? If Sexton pushes too hard for too much, I think we'll move on.
