Remember the other day when Larry confirmed Gruden was in East Tennessee?

Why would Gruden be in East TN and not at the UT game as rumored?

Just sayin. That’s some serious smoke.

I don’t. Prolly had to change his number. When he wants a job, he’ll accept it. His next gig will be at a school that forks out for his recruiters and allows for him to take long spells away from the rat race. So not SEC. I think the reason most project him to the Pac 12 isn’t LOCATION...it’s lifestyle. If the Arizona or Colorado or hell, even Utah (with today’s coaching dominoes) jobs become available...I’d see him jumping feet first.

If Mullen was coaching and developing our 2015 team, I think we could have beaten them. If he could have developed Dobbs, there's no telling how good he might have been.

One thing I don't like -
Orange slice was big in the Grumers the first time around. Then he joined in this time around, even changing his name from MaximusIII back to orange slice.
Supposedly always has some inside info.
He suddenly stopped posting in the Gruden thread but I see him occasionally in other threads. And he's always saying things like I'm afraid our number1 target next year is Butch Jones. Just a complete 180.

I'm one that remains optimistic but skeptical until it's officially announced. I'm not 100% sold, but I've seen enough info that I think it seriously had some legs. I'll post tonight when I get back to work. I'm too tired right now. :hi:

I don’t pay attention to any of those guys. Boro. Coasty. Dto. Etc.

Connect the real dots. There’s still real smoke there.

Oh, I agree on anyone trying to get e-cred.
Thing is, slice is turning down a perfect opportunity if that's what he was interested in. Those kind of posts are actually unpopular.

Not that I'm overly convinced, I already stated I believe we offered, which goes against the idea of keeping Jones. But I am curious what made him do the complete reversal.

Yeah, there's half a dozen or so of them over there who are totally eat up with that thread. It's like a Cyber Soap Opera.

I hope it is Gruden, but if it is, there'll be a bunch from that thread with heads that won't fit through a garage door.

Funny how none of those "insiders" saw the Lady Vols name coming back, and I'm sure there wasn't nearly the amount of internal security around that decision.

Let 'em have their fun. It's harmless.

Go Vols.

I know there are lots of questions swirling about Mullen or Taggart, but if we got either of those, I think we would be in good shape for the next 10 years. IMO

Thanks, man. I saw AV post that a while ago. I have been trying to scan through the posters and read what seems like relevant info from those who claim to have sources, but sometimes I miss something or like yesterday and this morning, I just skipped 10 pages or so.
