I know there are spotters out there- they've taken pictures of our planes. But I stand corrected with the ADSB website- Didn't know it existed and I'm amazed there's a crack in the blocking.
I'm assuming Pilot/FJ has already done the ADSB installs since I don't have an "in" with their flight department and you were able to see. I tried to enter our tail numbers and nothing came up. Of course we aren't updating until first quarter of next year.

It’s pretty interesting. It popped up pretty quickly after BARR started. I am interested that none of your tail numbers popped up...I haven’t had trouble finding anyone who uses their plane on a semi frequent basis. If you just take you 172 up every Sunday morning and don’t venture more than 50 mikes from whatever grass field you have a hanger at....maybe nothing. For everyone else...there is usually at least a small track.

One kind of funny quirk in the system is that there is really unreliable data in busy airspace...say around ATL. I think there is just so much ATC traffic that a lot of stuff gets missed. I think spotters there are listening for particular registrations rather than logging anything. For instance you could pretty much track Trump’s plane 100% of the time during the election...spotters were looking for it.

Anyway, since this is probably off topic for 95% of people, I will just leave it there.

Saw a post last night on RF quoting VQ War room saying they basically are unable to confirm anything on Gruden. Had requested an interview on Monday in Charlotte but denied (duh!) Last sentence was interesting to me (cuz I'm interested in timing) - said> BTW, Gruden is to be inducted into Bucs Ring of Honor on 12/18 when there for MNF game.

I want to make my stance known in the high times right now. All I’ve wanted is for TN to swing for the fences with a coaching hire. I believe it’s safe to assume TN has gone all in to get Gruden and if he says no, I’m okay with it. I’ll be disappointed but it won’t be because we crapped the bed. It’ll be his decision. And if by some chance that happens, it’ll also prove to me that Currie wants to win and is competent enough to hire the best fit. Before anyone freaks out, I know nothing. I can just sense the vultures circling waiting to pounce on those of us who believe if by some slim chance it’s not Gruden.
