Not enough, IMO. I was like, whoa. What’s he got to do with this? Surely it’s not just random calling him out, right?

Well, I’m not sure what a slap-in is, but it seemed like a put down from a former friend or someone he knows. It also didn’t correlate at all to his other tweets?

We have had 3rd and Chavis before. Him as our DC wouldn't excite me. Rather keep Shoop.

JG has to hit grand slams with his position coaches to pull him along coaching college. Alot more to it than just practicing and playing.

IMO.
If Chavis comes back it's as a position coach. IF

LB coach. Just a guess

Oh my god. I forgot Beaver in my thank you letter.
I didn’t mean it, Beav. No scotch for me. 😞

I put a little extra away for a few months and took my daughter to a game last year. Showed her Neyland's statue and explained The Maxim's. Explained who he was and why we celebrate him all these years later. She had a great time and loved the atmosphere but I remember feeling something was missing.

I can't wait to take her again when we have resurrected this program. I think I will start saving now and hopefully get her some seats in the lower bowl to sample the real Neyland experience. Hopefully I can pass this proud Volunteer tradition to a third generation!

Go Vols!
Love reading about a childs experience. We are taking my daughter next year for the first time (she has been to every Orange and White game), just not a ton of intrest other than boogying down to the band firing up ole faithful Rocky Top. Next year though, Daddy's girl is going to get that same orange twinkle in her eye Dad has.
GBO
SOON!

I’ll have you know that after dozens of seconds reading some of the other threads, I decided it was in the best interest of my sanity and the emotions of those I’d bludgeon to death with my sarcasm, that I will not be doing a “Not so top Posters” report. The lunacy is almost as sickening as the settling for someone because their buyout is cheap. I’m believing a few 11-13 win seasons with some SEC titles and heck, a natty or 2 will purge the residue of the Dooley/Jones era off of our fellow breathren and sistren.

Uh huh...

Can't say we didn't warn you.

So...my recap for the day. I am hearing good news from my one and only source. I am not a "soon" guy (mostly because my source has been saying the same for about 3 weeks), but I do look forward to knowing something within the next three weeks. We will all be happy with the next coach.

Holy cow! I bet we know each other! Across the street from Mr. Franklin lived a girl that was my high school sweetheart. Her initials were MAR... We're talking Mission Oaks, right?

Yup! She lived right next door to my grandparents.

We probably know of each other. I played softball in my junior and senior year for Coach Huling.

Go Pioneers!

Be cautious of these new insiders that keep spitting names of former Vols and former coaches.

Bingo. Much more like some Vol fan's dream than Gruden's. After going to College Station last year and seeing what Kamara did all day, but especially on 3rd down, I could appreciate Chief's days in Knoxville, but never wanted to see him coaching for us again.

Good rebuttal. But i think his defense is very successful with the right players recruited. Like many others. I'm not against keeping Shoop and Coach G, i think it would make the transistion easier for all parties. Cheapen buyout. And help Gruden on recruiting.
