I'm hoping like heck we can get Mullen in here if Gruden turns it down for a third time I guess. Get ready to win 9 or 10 pretty consistently around here.

I remember Finebaum saying that inside people he had spoken to had identified Gruden as their number one target.

Now he is saying that no one is trying to hire Gruden? That doesn't make any sense.

Setting up dat narrative. They will find a way to fall all over themselves praising Norvell to Gainesville while saying Gruden is washed up and will fail at Tennessee.

Lol what about what he did at Oakland lol what's his excuse there. Dude was a boss and took a team of old used players to the Super Bowl. Finebaun is a pencil neck nerd and don't know sh!+ about real football or X's and O's. He is no better then the fans in the stands that scream he was wide open all the time, when the QB throws to someone else and the defenders are not trailing their receiver anymore,... he is bleeping annoying

For most it’s a cumulative effect. People are just sick of divisive bs. And a bunch of millionaires who went to college for free talking about oppression rubs people the wrong way. Right or wrong.

The other day some atheletes got mad of the use of the phrase “inmates running the asylum” or whatever. It’s just nonsense. People are so offended over every little thing.

Sports are an escape from that stuff for a lot of people. It’s just really tiresome when you try and watch a game and politics gets forced on you.

On top of that people see it as a slap in the face to our country and those that died for it. Also the NFL product is on the decline as well.

Seems like the only case for Gruden not coming to Tenn we're hearing from the talking heads is that "It's impossible" or "He's comfortable in his current job" or "Why would he coach in college?"

I've yet to see any substantial evidence on why he won't end up at Tenn. All while the Gruden to Tenn rumors are popping up all over the place, and there's way more smoke than in 2012.

Gruden won a title with Dungy players because dungy couldn't win a title with them. He happened to beat his own players at Oakland. So basically all the players in the super bowl could be credited to Gruden as well.

This whole debate is stupid. You don't just win a super bowl by luck. It also wasn't like Gruden was the GM. He was just the HC coaching the players given.

So let's say Dungy can't win a Super Bowl without Peyton, belicheck can't win a super bowl without Brady, guess they are bad coaches too then

The NFL won with coach X players excuse is lame. They don’t recruit. Couldn’t figure his angle here.

I’m from Dyersburg and I HIGHLY doubt that anybody from there has any sort of inside info. We love our Vols, but we don’t exactly have any big-time boosters.
