Gruden might be a done deal. this is 50 times crazier than 2012 and more people are giving it real credence. this sounds like harbough and more open than Saban.

Disagree. Dealing with a superstar that makes more money than you do and knows you can't really discipline him because management won't allow it is much more difficult for a coach.

It is going to be very interesting to me, how all this coaching search plays out. I am talking about especially for TN, FL, and other SEC schools. The names that are being thrown out and discussed ad nauseum, etc.

I keep going back to 2012 in my mind, and thinking about all the discussion, and finally getting a coach that was almost totally out of the blue.

I can't keep from wondering if all this talk has any basis in reality or not. I think that it does, but I also thought it did last time as well...hmmm...

Our D will have to play lights out to have a chance. Mizzou's D is equally as bad as Tennessee's O.

Probably not till all hope of a bowl game's gone... which will be after LSU. Some still think we'll finish strong.

So just how would a players parent know?

Tennessee getting Gruden, and Florida not getting Frost, Mullen or Taggart and having to settle for Norvell would be the greatest thing to happen to Tennessee football since at least '98, maybe ever.

Makes total sense if you look at big picture. Durkin defense dominated in this conference and recruited at elite level. His stock would be sky high right now if his top 2 QBs don't get hurt. His Michigan defense was elite as well

I like Durkin and like him far more than Norvell

I'm really interested how our secondary will do. Statistically it's been solid, but teams have ran whenever and how ever they want, that's main reason why

With that said, if we get Gruden, I'm calling about season tickets for the whole family.

That's one of the many differences between Gruden and the rest of these coaches...
