Most of my routines I yank from bodybuilding.com. Love all of Jim Stoppani's workouts. The guy is super smart and is a beast.

The Mullen talk is hilarious.

The fact that they think he’d kill it here when expectations at UT are 100x higher compared to MSU is dumb.

I truly believe some of our fans want us to be mediocre because they’re horrible at suggesting possible new HCs.

If Gruden doesnt come (i know that is hard for Grudes), then who would you suggest?

It is impossible to talk sense into those that think Mullen would trade a $4.5 million a year job with low expectations to a $5 million a year job with our fan base's expectations.

I've given up trying to explain everything that's wrong with Mullen. But I'll sum it up in a very simple analogy.

Hiring Mullen would be like picking up the person passed over 15 times already at last call. You know in your heart they're not the best out there, but you're willing to settle for just anything at the moment.

The way I look at Mullen is...if Florida wants him, we probably can't get him, but if Florida doesn't want him....why would we?

I play Pokémon with my kids. Got to find ways to connect with your children. Mine are 13 and 10. They love Pokémon so dad takes an interest. My pops was a s***ty father so in an effort to be a good dad, I try to stay involved in what my boys are doing. I try to be a father, a friend, and a mentor. They know at times dad has to play disciplinarian as well.

You will never regret time spent with your children. Hats off to you sir.

P90x3 is so awesome. I've been doing it for 2 years straight. It is only 30 minutes, but I'm in the best shape of my life. And I was a serious athlete in my younger days.

*BREAKING NEWS* Well guys some huge news is on the horizon. My brother knows a guy on the board that isn’t going to be mentioned that has informed him tonight that 4 hours ago or so we inked a deal with the man himself Jon Gruden to be the next head coach of UT football, a booster at UT paid out all coaching staffs that aren’t sticking around buyouts and Peyton was the one in the meeting room that said Jon Gruden was the future of Tennessee Football and that was said with the backing of many people, the announcement should be leaking on Sunday and along with that he was also informed that with the signing of Jon Gruden, Cade Mays is going to recommit. I️ know this sounds like just another Grumor but it’s from a source I️ trust very much and although nothing isn’t a rumor until it happens this one is one I️ believe whole heartedly. With that being said GO VOLS!!!!! I️ hope this is all real life come Sunday!!!!!

Ill have to check it out. I used to do the first program in my garage with a sauna suit on and would sweat like hell. I didnt realize the program had advanced to a third series and I cant even imagine some of the creative workouts he has probably implemented now.

I’ve done every P90X multiple times. If you want to move up from there, I recommend the Body Beast program. It took me to another level.

For me yes. I have been doing BB for almost a year and have never been this strong. Being 50,I'm good with that.

My stupid ambulance chasing attorney brother wants us to get Mullen. My brother is one of those types that thinks he’s always the smartest person in the world. And, he would lie, cheat, and steal from his own grandmother.
My sister, on the other hand, is honest as the day is long.
But, due to her many addictions, she has been in and out of rehab and prison so many times that the only job she can get is as an “escort”.
Still, which sybling do you think I like more and am prouder of?

I remember a recruiter from Wyoming (when we lost to Wyoming) say that there is one (1) D-1 player per 500,000 people. This make the per ca-pita factor very pertinent.

I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. Yeah, Wyoming doesn't produce much talent, under any measurement. Absolute or per capita.

But ultimately a per capita number is irrelevant beyond just being an moderately interesting statistic. Ultimately what matters is where you are located relative to the most D1 players. That would be Florida, Texas, California, Georgia, etc. Those schools, and other schools recruiting those areas, couldn't care less about the per capita talent. DC has the highest per capita number, but last time I checked George Mason and Georgetown aren't competing for a BCS bowl bid.

No it means a LOT of their players go to the NFL despite a low population. Your odds of growing pro are greater than many states. By your account China is a better country due to population, so is India. Anyway...

I used to coach youth football here in Mississippi. There are some super athletic kids here. Even had the opportunity to coach some of the McNair kids. Steve was part of a really large family down here. All the youth programs are feeders to the middle school and high school programs.

Anyone can squeeze in 30 minutes. It really helps. I never ever ever miss a workout.

Jim Stoppani is awesome. I just had a new canister of Pre Jym delivered about 5 mins ago. I go back and forth between his programs and Calum Von Mogers.

My bad. You did say it in the earlier comment. But for real, that's not true. At best, they are about equal, and are both in the middle of the road in terms of D1 Talent, with TN increasing considerably due to population growth.

Nonetheless, I never said I want Mullen over Gruden. That's silly. I wouldn't be in this thread if that was the case. I'm simply trying to make the point that comparing him to Jones is beyond ridiculous. Jones is garbage and has been. Mullen is a good coach. Jones has done way less with more, while Mullen has done the opposite.

Why are you even in this thread? People in this thread have hope, and that’s something most vol fans don’t have at the moment. I mean you’re a Tennessee fan, so you should understand how the fan base feels. Yeah you have your opinion and I respect it, but to constantly say the same things over and over is kind of annoying. We know how you feel, so please just let us “Grudes” have our hope for a bright future with Chucky at the helm. You can keep your opinion because you’re most certainly entitled to it, but please don’t constantly keep trying to bring everyone else down. We’re going to be 0-8 in the SEC this year, so just let us hope and have our fun please.
