You go re-read because I did say overall in my comment. We get it you want another mediocre coach and we want Gruden.
Grude Morning, my fellow Grudenites!!
Take the Mullen talk outta of this thread please..Its all about Jon Fn Gruden in here and lets keep it that way..Thank you!! Carry on, fellas..
SOON
:devilsmoke:
And folks continuously want to come into the GRUDEN thread and talk about other coaches to hire. There are threads for that. Not sure what is so hard to comprehend other than just wanting to come in and banter on about some other BS coach "that would be better than Butch"...well no $hit... But please understand, that is not what we want... We want a championship caliber coach, one that has proven he can win a championship(s), regardless if it is at the college or Pro level... Mullen does not fit that description but Gruden does!
Seems to be some angst in the thread this morning. A few folks muddying the waters. Best not to do that. Keep your eye firmly fixed on the prize. Distractions are just distractions; ignore them.
We don't need a coach who is better than some other coach. If that's your argument in favor of person X or person Y, that he'd be a better coach than someone we've already suffered through, then you have a weak argument.
We need a game changer. A guy who has stood on top of the mountain and looked down at all the vanquished beneath his feet. A fellow who has the youth and energy and smarts to get up that mountain again, maybe several times. Who knows what it feels like and is hungry to get the feeling again. And again.
So forget all those other names. This is the Jon Gruden thread.
Eye on the prize.
Go Vols! (and good morning, everyone)
Good ole Tony Horton, how is the P90x3? I havent been through any of his programs since the first P90x. Corn cob pullups were the devil.
Cade is a big time recruit, no doubt. But I'm not buying that a 17 year old is putting severe pressure on Currie to move faster.
I believe it potentially has more to do with his re-commitment after JG is hired, to add to the momentum and positive energy when that day comes.
Currie knows that when JG is announced, all the fans, recruits and everyone else will be back. All will be forgiven in an instance.

I play Pokémon with my kids. Got to find ways to connect with your children. Mine are 13 and 10. They love Pokémon so dad takes an interest. My pops was a s***ty father so in an effort to be a good dad, I try to stay involved in what my boys are doing. I try to be a father, a friend, and a mentor. They know at times dad has to play disciplinarian as well.
And you continuously miss what im saying.
Its not the end of the world if Tennessee signs Mullen. The typical Tennessee move is to sign another mid major hopeful and see what happens
