Im surprised we are 7th in the conference in total defense...

Shoop isn't the problem of this team. It's Butch, Scott, Beard, and Wells.

Yep. If the offense had a pulse and allowed the defense to stay off the field that number would move up a few more spots.

Gruden tag, all! It’s a great day to continue anticipating our Super Bowl winning coach’s arrival on the Hill!

If the trucks were here for anything Gruden related (spoiler: they weren't) it's done now. I passed them heading eastbound on 40 this morning.

That was kind of my thinking but it sure seemed to have a few folks fired up in here last night.

It was a nut house. Doxing, stalking, and harassing truckers. It went overboard, IMO. It was a little disappointing. I hope that kind of stuff ends, soon. Believe or don't, but last night was too much for me.

Apparently my sarcasm meter was broken, last night.

So, Grude on. :hi:

Chris Landry on Bill King's show just said that no one in the NFL wants Gruden and that he is way overrated as a coach. Says he struggled with young players and basically ran Tampa Bay into the ground. Said Tennessee can get a way better coach for half the price.

Thank you for posting this. Now we can stop it with the correct route to Charlotte stuff. I’m all in on the Gruden train but that got ridiculous.

Soon

That's cool. My FIL is an upstager for bands of all kinds. He spent a long time with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. He used to send my family swag from whoever he was hauling gear for. My MIL doesn't like it because he's gone all but a few weeks a year. He's been OTR for around 30 years, it's all he knows. Personally, I don't mind hard, physical work, especially if it's doing something outside the trade I'm currently in because I like new experiences. I'm 35 and haven't done much traveling and my dad is retiring next year and I've been thinking about whether I wanted to stay where I am or start doing something else. I've been doing the same thing for the last 13 years and I'm burned out. My wife wants me to work here for 20 years and leave to get most of my 401 and move to the Midwest, around Wyoming or Montana. I'll die with a smile on my face working as long as it's a rewarding job, no matter how tough

Doing what you enjoy means a lot. It doesn't seem like work if you love it.

I have been in your shoes. It sucks having to go to a job you hate.

Lighten up you bunch of tight holes. Geez. Last night was what many of us call fun. IMO, we were poking fun at ourselves. The names I see complaining aren’t familiar so you apparently only have something to say when it’s negative. I’m sure there’s an irrelevant coach thread that you can go be a part of out there. ➡️

I have a friend here in Texas that is a walking Wikipedia page for Texas history. When he starts on one of rants about Texas, I post on his FB page, "Tennessee says hello". He always acknowledges the many ways that Tennesseans impacted the outcome.

Texans are very prideful about their state, however I don't think that they are taught where the help came from. I do like to remind them though, in a friendly kind of way.

They dont seem to be taught at all!!
Most are either willfully ignorant and just deny it or have not heard of Tennessee basically bailing them out.
Im past being friendly.
Constant snarky comments about tennessee and when a reply comes to the truth, they claim im texans did it all alone!
Almost all of the celebrated heros of that little conflict and the schools, roads, and counties they are named after come from tn

They arent prideful- theyre obnoxiously retarded about "their state"

If it takes more than one day to take them down, if you’re out of state, do you just stay at a hotel or camp out or something? Haha. I know that’s a dumb question. But just wondering. My mind is weird like that lol.

Lol.. not dumb. I camp on site. If the weather gets bad enough I'll get a room, especially in the winter.

Otherwise I'll go to a truck stop for a shower.
