Official Jon Gruden Thread 30

My prevailing thoughts this morning...

- I have no clue who our next coach will be, but anything is possible.

- Any objective observer will tell you that CBJ cannot be retained after this season. The only reason he stays is if the buyout becomes a debate of principle (because clearly $'s would not be the issue)

Gruden tag, all! It’s a great day to continue anticipating our Super Bowl winning coach’s arrival on the Hill!

That was kind of my thinking but it sure seemed to have a few folks fired up in here last night.

The trucks took an odd path, not the most efficient way to get to Charlotte. Then they went west to cedar bluff(horrible congested exit for any truck staying over night). There is something about it that doesn't make sense. The exit is close to the house Gruden bought(rumor).

That's what we do, it's in our name. If not for us, a wall would be built along another river....

I have a friend here in Texas that is a walking Wikipedia page for Texas history. When he starts on one of rants about Texas, I post on his FB page, "Tennessee says hello". He always acknowledges the many ways that Tennesseans impacted the outcome.

Texans are very prideful about their state, however I don't think that they are taught where the help came from. I do like to remind them though, in a friendly kind of way.

Im surprised we are 7th in the conference in total defense...

Shoop isn't the problem of this team. It's Butch, Scott, Beard, and Wells.

I'm being beards impact is minimal as butch still probably inserts himself into the wr coaching, probably fairly regularly. Jmo. The wrs look no different than they ever have.

cause there is nothing to talk about... truck drivers stopping at a hotel for the night.. just happen to be from MNF which is ironic I know but I can't believe we are obsessing over all of those MNF trucks

even if they were here to do a story on Gruden (which I seriously doubt they are) they wouldn't need that many trucks would they?

Unless, of course, they're actually moving vans in disguise..,

(this was one of the suggestions last night )

MIT as you know from prior threads, I just moved to Atlanta and I now have a fancy winter business coat. Based on this qualification, do you know if anyone is hiring for $175,000+ that requires an outstanding personality with said fancy winter business coat.

Little secret I didn't pay retail on the coat. all I do is make deals. deals. deals.

MIT, to give you assistance on visualizing: When I walk into the room, I look like I have multiple holding companies for all of my assets. I also look like I may have a workers compensation policy for the domestic contributors. Think a big wig with flare.

I married a very proud Texas girl. She, like all real Texans, readily acknowleged their state's debt to Tennessee. :)

Why aren't y'all talking about AV. He specifically said when it got close he would go quiet. Unless I have missed something he is very quiet.

He has been very quiet- hasn't posted in a week since the meeting he mentioned. Just wandered back into the RF for some reason and one of the nugs posted was about Haslam not going down without a fight and aligning with Garmin founder? Is there any other smoke about this? He needs to back away from the control booth for good.
