This wasn’t directed at TB... but he quoted my tweet & appeared to slightly soften his 100% anti-grude stance..

@1_Boyd_3: Have you spoke with @wesrucker247 ? Apparently the very notion of Gruden at UT holds no weight, you’re obvi on the other side (of it being a possibility).. what say you sir?

@TonyBasilio: Anything in life is possible. Gruden wants to be wanted. That's his deal. I don't believe it until I see it. It's a fun escape for the fans otherwise. Grumors > Botch Ball.

Not to be Debbie Downer but I believe 5-7 would be a best case scenario for us at this point. I believe we are more destined to finish up sitting with last game played to every single SEC team being a loss.

I remember hearing someone call into a radio show with an analogy a while back that is so fitting. "Butch was great at repairing the foundation and putting up the walls brick by brick but he just can't put the d*mn roof on the house!"

So true and now the inside seems to be suffering from water damage.

I'm proud of all of us, collectively, in our emotional growth. We are 35 minutes from a press conference and no one is talking about any sort of expectations from that.

Which means something will happen. :) Maybe Butch falls down and hits his head. But at least something happens, right?

Have we discussed/decided what clues Beav is supposedly giving us by changing his location? We've had Asheville, Nantucket, Busch gardens, and now Sarasota. I believe these were also his hotel recs.

okay, lest my statement be viewed as less than gentlemanly, what i meant by it was simply, we have a relationship that goes far beyond one simple aspect of marital bliss. we have a great relationship in every sense of the word.

I mentioned yesterday my Dawg family members bombarding me with this crap. Here's the thing. They are the hugest Dawg homers there are. They completely ignore all relevant facts contrary to what they want to hear. I laid it out to them this way. They ALWAYS crow about who they are gonna get, and I never do. I ALWAYS hedge when I talk recruiting with them. And I finally had to say "look, I never ever tell you guys definitively who we are or aren't going to get. But Cade Mays will NOT be playing for the Dawgs in Athens next year. "

"But he wants to play with Salyers..."

"Not happening."

"But we just got 2 crystal balls for Mays..."

"Not happening."

"But we get his last visit..."

NOT HAPPENING.

I finally just had to stop talking and walk away. They literally refuse to process any fact that doesn't fit their narrative.

Can't choose your family though. Still love em. :)

I am certainly not worried about Cade, as his father is a former lineman at UT and a VFL.

The former players are all in on the Gruden train.

Not near Knox. Was until Jan. 5 of this year. Essentially, I'm on the northern fringes of Eglin AFB, currently. But we are itching to get back to God's country.

You would go to Ft. Rucker for around 12-18 months to complete all the training, then go back to your normal life and be assigned to that unit
