Thing is when they hear Basillo's name thry literally laugh out loud and say that he is a clown and is thought of as just that within the circle of those who are donors. As for Hubbs he is state related and they respect Hubbs but go on to say that the AD and AA office relay to them what they want too and sometimes is not the whole truth.

i would think he'd be old school enough (Majors influence) that he'd still do the coaches show, wouldn't he?

that's one of the things i'm most excited about hiring Gruden, is the coaches show.

Sometimes there are no smoke and mirrors. Sometimes what is happening is right in front of you. I think they are telling the truth. Butch still has some support of the AD and Administration to keep his job through the year, and possibly to the next because they don’t want to pay a buyout or pay for a decent coach.

This has happened for years. We have all the money, tradition, facilities that every other big program has, but we don’t have the balls or brains to make it happen.

Tennessee has been a consistent disappointment for a while because the leaders are ok with where they are. Tennessee gonna Tennessee.

I'll bet money he doesn't believe this. He says it to get people riled up and it works.. He understands that hating or loving what he says is the same thing, people are listening/reading....
