What they actually mean is that they will not be coming on the forums for hours a day and will not nearly be as excited as they would be with Gruden. None of us will disown TN. But we will be sad.

IMO Gruden wants Butch to be given the opportunity to finish the season rather be fired in the middle of it. He is the founder of FFCA after all.

Worst case scenario..Gruden IS NOT a great college coach. That's the WORST that could happen(and it won't). Well..that's why u hire great coordinators. Even the biggest naysayers have to admit all his assistants will have to do is mention Grudens name and we'll be having 5 stars coming out of our arses. Gruden won't even have to do anything...but if there's a 5 star on the fence Gruden can show up at their kitchen table and seal the deal. I think this is indisputable. There is no doubt we will be either 1 or 2 in recruiting like immediately imo. Let's hope this can get done.

But there is no doubt the infusion of top talent would be huge.

I find it odd that there’s more smoke going around from Gruden than any other possible candidate.

If Gruden is Currie’s #1 priority, that explains all the work that’s been put into the deal.

Timing is the only thing that’s still questionable right now.

No need. I just think that cakes, venue signs, people at other games using signs, calling for a coaches firing is incredibly dumb. It's going to happen, we all know it is.

I'm in agreement that it's time to move on.That said, the morons that make and carry signs to other stadiums that say "Fire Butch Jones" should get a ****ing life.

You embarrass the Orange and White.

See that's my Thoughts on Gruden he's not my top 3 of choices. Cause he's unknown as a College coach, however I don't think he will bust. I do infact think he will be successful because I believe he will hire a really good staff and let the staff do their jobs. I believe he and his staff will recruit well. VFLs should be treated much better with him at helm.

Does this take us to national championship level? Not sure... But competing for east and going to ATL occasionally? Probably... So I'm happy with Gruden.
