Monday Press Conference

Math is hard LOL

Not really. .56 + 1% is .5656.

Point being, I agree with your larger point. Byrd has been incredibly under-utilized this season and Sgt Carter saying he’d suddenly gonna be a larger part of the game plan means virtually nothing imo.

Who is Kiffen? LOL. Personally, I'd be fine with Lane Kiffin. But remember this - he committed multiple NCAA violations while at UT the first time. Question is, has he learned enough to avoid the same mistakes and others? Furthermore, anyone taking a job with a grudge against a competitor, is as ripe to cheat as there comes. Won't take too much for them to become totally rotten. Be careful what you ask for.
Didn’t coach Orgeron partake in these violations as well?

all these bull **** post,..i see dumb ass newbies stealing well known posters avatares and acting like hot ****.

dude your fighting a war ..thats not won here..facts dont mean ****..its the newbies war....internet war

Why would butch resign? He's going to do what he actually does better than any other coach UT has ever had, get paid.

I have come to the conclusion after losing to Kentucky that they will not be firing him mid-season. :(

While it is debatable on firing Coach Fulmer, they allowed him to finish the season and the team rallied to help him win out (I think).

Maybe we should go that route, I think it will be at least as good for recruits than a last minute firing or waiting until the day after early signing period is over in December.

No, the team played without spirit and even lost to WYOMING... much like Florida lost to MIZZOU. Unless under the most bizarre or demanding circumstances, it is generally best to announce the firing a coach at the end of the season.

This is why.. and I kinda throw up a little when I say it... we need to look at Kiffen IF we can't get Gruden. Kiffen wants to come back to Knoxville and has a grudge to be settled with Saben. Noone else we could hire will have the same fire to go after Bama and Georgia like Kiffen would. I know were all still butthurt over him quitting on us , but shy of Gruden... who else can you name that has the fire to beat our SEC rivals?:eek:lol:

Things people have probably forgotten about Kiffin.

1. He refused to recite Neyland’s Maxims before the game. He told the players they wouldn’t recite them either. The players protested and Kiffin allowed them to recite the Maxims while he stood there silently.

2. He promoted USC in the training center and at practices. He refused to play UT highlights and would run USC highlights on all video monitors. He hung USC jerseys throughout the complex and took down UT jerseys and pictures. He replaced UT Vols signs with USC Trojans signs.

3. He had UT murals painted over throughout the training complex. He ordered the mural of Peyton leading the band to be painted over. The UT employees who were supposed to paint over it refused to and said they would quit before painting it over. The AD had to get involved to save the mural and ensure a large number of employees didn’t walk out.

4. When Kiffin left he reported major violations he had committed here to the NCAA in exchange for them to pardon him. The NCAA wanted a big fish to fry and UT was a much bigger fish than Kiffin.
