Honest question:
In any business deal the negotiated terms are set so that each side is most benefitted. That being said, assuming Gruden was our guy, what advantage does Gruden have in delaying his announcement? Why would he want to wait?
Butch is essentially just an interim, and I really think he has to know this. So why wait?
what does Gruden gain from delaying an announcement?
Ps- don't get me wrong, Im full Grude!
What's he going to announce, he's interested in, or got, the job that hasn't opened up yet? He's quitting ESPN?
He doesn't have our battered vol syndrome. Chill
Maybe you should do a Curl Route and GTFOutta here!Would never come to Tennessee:
Gruden (embarrassed I even had to type it)
Peterson
Patterson
Franklin
Chip Kelly
Stoops
Reasonable choice that would succeed here if hes willing: Mullen, Venables
Intriguing and worth a call even if its a long shot: Fuente
Intriguing coach who may want out of his current spot and would be willing to start fresh at a school like Tennessee: Jimbo
At one time I thought this guy might be successful here but hes changed my mind with how he is managing his current team: Petrino
JMO
I'm still going to go with the Hyams timeline, if nothing else, he's been right about Butch staying when others have said each game was his last. He said Butch would be removed after his next loss. If he loses to Missouri, he's likely gone at that point.
Been on VN less than a month and totally gets the Gruden thread. Well done Bluegrass Vol
