Simply isn't true. Haynesworth was on Fox Sports Knoxville where he indicated that Haslam was the man and he trusted Haslam to make a great hire.
Today, said the big money guys have stepped up and that they refused to allow one man to make the hire like last time. These are contradictory statements. If Haynesworth was Swain's source, then they would be saying the same thing. They are not.
Ok assuming some of these are gonna be fired...which retread would you be most ok with. (Have to pick)

Edit: Also, Swain did not say that Gruden was coming. He simply said that big money boosters have stepped up and are taking their best shot at hiring Gruden. That's all. He did not say he was coming.
Also said that two big time power 5 coaches have reached out to UT, one directly, one indirectly, with interest in the job. Either would be a home run for TN he said.

I would add their "de-recruitment" work is other worldly. Granted, it helps pretty much every player knows what they're signing up for there at this point, but its still impressive.
That's something UT really has to handle better with the next staff.
If Swain is right, we are about to knock this hire out of the park. It very well may be Gruden. But if not, according to him, big money backers are going to hire someone great and at least two coaches have reached out who will be massive hires he said.

"Strong effort to put TN in position to win now."
Not sure why but I just got a bad feeling that we are going to end up trotting out Coach McGoogleme. Get this feeling that when we do, Currie will say we pursued many homeruns who ended up not being as interested as they initially expressed, but felt they ended up with the best candidate in Coach McGoogleme.
