I’m not sure what I’m thinking venturing outside of this thread. Some of the potential coaches being tossed around out there would make most of you pee your pants

I doubt it. I think the earliest we get an announcement on Butch will be the week of the Vandy game, which is two weeks away. The announcement would be that it is his last game.

I think the earliest we get an announcement on a new coach would be the Sunday after the Vandy game.

So what happened to all the "insiders" saying that Sourher Miss was the last game for CBJ win or lose? Asking for a friend. Either way....SOON!!!

I'm still going to go with the Hyams timeline, if nothing else, he's been right about Butch staying when others have said each game was his last. He said Butch would be removed after his next loss. If he loses to Missouri, he's likely gone at that point.

I wish I would have never listened to Basilio today smh. Really ruined my Grude vibe for today. So I'm currently re-listening to Swain to get back on the Grude train. Soon!

Why do so many people think DP was in the AD? I think at best he had an office in the building, but not working for UT. I don't know if he has ever revealed his connection to UT so I won't say much, but regarding his Gruden comments, I ain't shook in the least.

I saw him respond 2 or so years ago to posters that said they believed he worked within the AD office....He responded and said he did not work in the AD offices but was in the AD offices pretty much weekly....or to some effect as such

That sounds like a custodian. Just sayin’

I don't recall any insiders saying that. I recall some saying that the outcome would have no impact on Butch's fate, mainly because he had already been told he would not be employed here in 2018.

He said he works with NCAA teams around the country on a regular basis.

I have a friend who does the same and he owns a company that makes awards/trophies for teams. He supplies schools from the SEC to the PAC 10.

DP is likely supplying some form of service for NCAA member schools if he works with any of them on a regular basis.
