Here's a weird/interesting/maybe related and maybe not tidbit...

A chattanooga attorney bought 4 tickets to tomorrow's game from someone my husband works with. For above face value. And supposedly he was buying "tons" of them.

You can get them for about $10 right now

I am still confused why MIT_Beaver was tweeting Currie last night. He's claimed for over a week that the Gruden deal was done and was a sure thing. If that was the case, then why did he even need to tweet Currie at all, especially those types of tweets.

without a doubt MIT is connected and knows "stuff" however he also is a "salesman" and FOS at times. He has an agenda and to give him credit he's trying his best to accomplish it. The $$ question is exactly what is his agenda.....IMO

I find it amazing, the amount of hate spewed online towards people, based on unsubstantiated rumor from anonymous internet posters. Just... Wow.

Boycott Haslam's businesses because someone named Beaver infers that he's not on board with our desired hire? No direct evidence... Nothing to substantiate. Just call for real world backlash to what very well may internet lies and trolling.

Hate Currie. Fire UT's new Ad. Why? Because someone you don't kow made an unsubstantiated claim? Because he's slower to move on something than you'd prefer, even though he knows much more about the particulars that you do?

The collective irrationality is stunning! These threads should be used to study human herd mentality.

Do they have any businesses other than the Browns at this point?

I believe he said it was a deal no one could refuse and Gruden was on board. I took that to mean it was locked and loaded pending approval. What sane person would deny Gruden and funding for the university? No one.

I think beav tweeted that to show Currie we know and show us he's fighting to make it happen.

The person that gives up control of football.

I don’t understand how Penn State football can go through so many terrible things and now be back winning, but it takes us decades to still not be competitive? And I don’t remember, but how long did Alabama let their program slide before hiring Saban? Are we just unlucky?

Their skid started after Stallings. So, from around '99-'06 seasons.

Didn't we fire a guy because the game "past him by"? Why the hell do we want a guy who's not coached any level in 10 years, and hasn't coached at the college level in nearly 30?
