Do not agree! Vinegar and crushed red on pulled pork is the bomb!

Completely agree on the sausage. Brisket is fine.

Also, to all the yankees, BBQ is food. It's not a grill or an event.

Ya'll want BBQ. Come to KC and i'll take you to all the finest bbq joints in the land. Period. I compete myseld and enjoy some finger licking bbq.

Qualifier - I don't pretend to know any UT Football boosters or have any firsthand knowledge (now or ever) of how things work in the UT AD.

However, what I do know is that every entity that has ever had a fundraising arm eventually will draw the line on booster bullying and tell them to take their money elsewhere. Doesn't matter whether that is $10,000 or $1Billion. If every gift given comes with strings attached or expectations of influence, eventually the booster is told "thanks, but not under those conditions".

To believe some of the stories on this board about the Haslam family, one has to first accept that every UT President since Boling; every UT-K Chancellor since Reese; every Governor of Tennessee since Blanton - are willing to accept this kind of bullying from one family. I would contend you have greater odds of finding ice on the bright side of the sun, than that being reality.

The stories told on here are good ones. But more fiction than fact - at least I hope so. If not, we have far bigger problems than who our next HC will be.

It tickles me pink when folks say, "hey, we're having a BBQ." Come to find out, it's burgers and dogs. BBQ is strictly pork (pulled or ribs and the like) and chicken. Anything else is beyond imposterous.

I didnt mean I won't eat vinegar-based BBQ, it's just not "BBQ," IMHO. As a native born and raised West Tenessean, I will contend that until I'm gone.

Huh?! You forgot BEEF!!!

BBQ up north is anything cooked around a grill. BBQ here is a food group.

Kind of how a coke down south is a soda and a Coke up north is an actual coke. At least this is my experience from living in Vermont, Minnesota, and the south.

I’m taking my oldest 2 kids to the game. I can get bottom level tickets on the TN sideline, 20 rows up for $63 each. That’s unreal.

I lived in Ohio for 3 years. BBQ is a noun. Not a verb.

I am still confused why MIT_Beaver was tweeting Currie last night. He's claimed for over a week that the Gruden deal was done and was a sure thing. If that was the case, then why did he even need to tweet Currie at all, especially those types of tweets.

Swain seems to be feeling good this morning.

Swain knows.

I keep getting the feeling that Swain knows, too.

I have to figure our how to support someone besides Gruden. If Gruden is not next coach I don't want to hate the next coach like I did for 5 years with Butch.

I keep going back to this very issue. If Gruden was not in serious play, we would be told by an unquestionable source. Everyone knows that in the current environment, anyone but Gruden is going to be a disappointment. It would be far better to cut the Gruden mania so people could get excited about someone else. The fact the rumors are allowed to fester, tells me all I need to know. Same was true in '12, and we almost had him.
