They're very multiple...it's one of the reasons for making the change. He's very mobile....unlike myself. If running from wild animal, you'd definitely want me to be your partner.

I am out for the day, as much as I will miss watching all of the drama, I do have to earn a living. I will catch Grand Vol's update later! May good things come today.

I woke up this morning and my first thought was “They’re going to fire Butch today”. Don’t know why that popped in my head lol. I have no insider info.

Most likely wishful thinking but I’m ready for the bandaid to come off.

I think that the AD wants to keep Butch until the end of the season.... this became evident to me after the Kentucky loss... (he should have been let go no later than that game imo). ....When he actually lets him go depends on how nasty this Kendrick deal gets... I do believe it has some legs, so only time will tell. That is a very fluid situation ... could be a lot quicker than AD wanted..we will see

As far as who do I want.... well I think we have dropped so low on the totem pole that only a BIG name coach can help us to recover what this great University should be and once was. So my choices are based on this thought and may not reflect the same as the AD's

1. Gruden
2. Kelly
3. Stoops


PS//// By the way, this thing with Gruden reminds me of the latter years of Bill Battle, there was a lot of rumbling for year from boosters that wanted Coach Majors.... it took several years but the Administration finally gave in.... Maybe history will repeat itself

The Swamp Rat was awesome.
He did a little radio show out of Knox last year that i listened to.

This. This hire is monumental in the trajectory of our program. It is a “Go Big or Go Home” type of hire. With where we have fallen to I believe it will require an absolute homerun hire to catapult back into national relevancy (meaning not just crack into the top 25). I mean playing for conference and national championships. If we do not (make a homerun hire) then this program will remain in its current plateau for the unforseeable future.

My definition of homerun hire is who you mentioned. None of these other names being mentioned that are currently coaching CFB.

Morning!

Lord, I hope we find out something today. Something good. Swain is going on this morning about people are calling about this job and he’s all excited about it. I’m just sitting here listening all “Meh” and stuff cause that don’t sound like Gruden. I’m not ready to talk about other coaches.,

Some would say the Third most important day was your first trip to Neyland. The day you fell in love with UT football and all of the joys and pain that it brings. Lol.
