AV is in the middle of all of this. Larry is putting pieces of the puzzle together from the outside.

He said a coaching name was floated and it wasn't Gruden. He said he hoped it was a smokescreen.

Thats what I mean. LWS admits his feelings on the matter are his opinion. I respect his opinion more than most, but that doesn't mean he can't be wrong.

Not being negative but I never bought into the theory that if he bought a house here translates to him being our coach. There are a bunch of reasons why he COULD buy a house here w/o being our coach.

Nothing changes the fact that "IF" Gruden is the man, everybody close to the situation is going to try and keep it hidden until the announcement. LWS and the like are not going to come out and say it's looking good. If he did, he knows that all hell would break out. The closer to legitimate knowledge a person is, the more likely they are to be misleading. In a way, moderately bad news is good news. Do you not think that the handful of people in that final meeting when the decision is made will all be sworn to secrecy?

A/V said previously he set the % at 65-70 that we get Gruden.

The only part of what he posted that confuses me is that all the boosters are on the same page and that the bride (Gruden) was the hold up. He believes Gruden isn't interested. This is the opposite of what AV has said, no?
