Official Jon Gruden Thread XXVI

there is no point undoubtedly....you claim your going to "troll them good in the Gruden thread Joe" but your not....understand fully :good!:

Quote me saying that, I dare you. You can’t, because I didn’t. I’ll be here waiting!

I have over 65k tweets, I've had twitter since the beginning. One random guy with 250 followers doesn't matter to John Currie one bit at all. I promise. He might not even read it.

Verified accounts have filters and can literally filter out any notifications from people they don't follow or aren't also verified accounts. So I'd put the chances of Currie even reading those tweets at like 50% at best.

The odds of him reading any tweet are likely <10%.

Sorry to bore peeps with stats, but I found these numbers troublesome...UT football attendance was 6th in the nation last year. Yet UTAD performance overall is trending down when compared to the rest of the SEC(while the conference as a whole is trending up), and UTAD overall performance ranks 46th nationally, which is pretty bad given the resources available.

Simply put, Haslam’s methods haven’t worked on the performance side.
Stats aren't boring. Stats are sexy. :)

1. Not when your tweets are protected and they don’t follow you.
2. Curry likely gets hundreds of @‘s a day. But I’m sure he’d let that one from the guy named VolsScotchGolf with a beaver avatar influence him greatly.
3. It’s delicious. Thanks for asking.

I can assure you the AD reads the message boards. They want to control the narrative. After all the info that Beaver has brought to light and the forecasted predictions, they definitely know who he is. Also, he has a lot of money on his side who can "manipulate" outcomes.

You think Currie is on Volnation? I hope so, so he’ll see he needs to go if he screws this up.

No, I highly doubt that Currie is on or probably ever heard of Volnation. However, the people on here talking about his tweets and getting fired up then tweeting, emailing, posting on Facebook, etc would get someone’s attention.

Fans, especially the passionate ones, are being used as leverage in this power game.

Meanwhile, Currie said today

"Our expectation is to have a championship football program.

"That's our heritage and that will be our future history."

This guy is going to do everything in his power to hire us a winning football coach, and the best one he possibly can. I choose to believe that. It may be Gruden (we all hope it is) but if it's not I don't think it will be because he didn't want to offer him enough money or enough power or whatever. It will be because Gruden said no. Just my opinion.

Agree. I think people feel the need to create some crazy scenario with riddle and puzzle pieces when in actuality, it's probably a pretty black and white process. We think he's purchased a home in Knoxville, presumably to coach at TN. Then, we have to assume he purchased it knowing he didn't have a coaching job nailed down. People need to calm down and let the process happen.

Ok I wanted to quote eb4h post but its gone now...

Anyway...imagine a guy who tried make a fake iphone text for Gruden nation to see for ecred lecturing us on dont believe what you see on the net...

Personally, I think his Twitter is irrelevant and he knows it. If he's really who he says he is then he knows there are other methods of creating buzz on social media that are far more effective. His Twitter is just catering to his followers keeping them whipped up.

I don’t care if the stadium is the most gorgeous in the world. If the product on the field is crap count me out. I’ve been a Vol fan for almost 40 years and I’ve had enough. Spare me the bandwagon, not a true fan talk. My fandom is sincere, but enough is enough.

With the amount of Email, pm’s, and twitter tags from irate fans I would imagine he ignores most of it

That’s awesome.

Millionaires and billionaires are using social media to build their empire. I’ve recently opened a business of which the company only uses social media for marketing and advertising. I think his Twitter is a dummy account personally. In the beginning he acted like he’d never heard of Twitter. That’s obviously bogus. He knows what he’s doing.

What does that have to do with stalking there scooter?
I was just messing with you. But hey.. now that you mention it something about a pot and a kettle? The time you spend on VN daily (and especially over the last 2 weeks) greatly outweighs the time he has invested in checking profiles.

I honestly wish he could see Volnation.

Which is a very reasonable thought...... And I would imagine the same thought big money donors have who just signed up to foot that bill. That tells me one thing.

So, Beav is a part of a team of professionals who have developed a plan with which to influence the outcome of this, in case of Haslam turning. They've been working on this plan for years.

All of VN, which we know is monitored by the AD, has been on beaver watch. He has publicly given his Twitter handle. I am 100% certain that Currie is paying attention to our little dam building rodent and his tweets. His semi-self doxxing today wasn't an accident. None of it is an accident.

You really think it takes a lot to have 50k post in 9 years? Do you even endzone bruh. I haven't been in a ton in the past 2 weeks..... Not sure why I am justifying any time I spend doing anything to random guy on internet though.
