I agree. He's smart to at least keep options open till a hire is made. I'd be shocked if Cade isn't a Vol.
I call Bullsh!t on that one CountVolcula ! ..... anyone of us on this board that had enough talent to play college football and got an offer from Butch Jones & Tennessee would jump at the chance to come here & run thru the "T".
~ Go Vols
He has two former Vols (James and Fulton) in the NFL right now and signed the #1 draft pick out of high school.
Mays is planning on being in Athens this weekend. I personally would love to see him in Red and Black (don't hate me too much please) but I still would be shocked if he doesn't end up in Knoxville. I really hope y'all get a good coach and the east can be a UT/UGA battle for the next decade. My hatred of UF went up a whole level after some of the fans actions last weekend in Jax.

Yes, the rumor is he's suppose to be in Athens this weekend. Hopefully the staff keeps Cade away from Fromm, Big Ben, and Woerner, until after the game; because if those four get together they'll be up all night talking hunting and fishing.
I expect Cade to end up committing to Tennessee in the end. If he was willing to play for Butch, I'm sure he'll be okay playing for Tennessee's next HC.
Do tell...
Had a few young drunk idiot UF fans say some wrong things about my wife and friend's wife and then threaten us (5 drunk idiots v. 2) while walking back after the game. Joke was on them because my buddy is a JSO deputy and quickly called some of his buddies on duty and they got thrown in the drunk tank. F em.
Back on topic, I think Mays to UGA is a pipe dream. I fully expect him to end up with UT.
Word from uga is he is not a take at the moment. Nothing to do with his ability they have one spot left and it's a top notch recruit and do not want to mess that up with chances of Mays staying at ut.....tifwiw

Will say that UGA had 4 players that could have gone to the NFL, but they elected to stay. Some think that is one reason UGA is so good this year. UT players tend to leave ASAP, and given the state of our program, I don't blame them.:thud:
Not sure where you are getting your info from but according to multiple sources, Mays is a 100% take for UGA. UGA is expecting to sign a class of 24 maybe even 25 with projections of guys leaving early or transferring out.
