Cade will be a Vol in the end. He is doing the right thing keeping his options open. If this AD screws up and keeps Jones then he should go somewhere else. As long as they make a half decent hire he will stick and pick right back up as the torchbearer for this class.

I agree. He's smart to at least keep options open till a hire is made. I'd be shocked if Cade isn't a Vol.
