Trivia question for you baseball folks. Thought this stat was phenomenal and forgot how good this guy was but I was still pretty young.

What pitcher had 53 complete games AND 154 saves in their career?

As much assurances as we’ve had about the AD following their plan, nothing I’ve seen has given me confidence in their mysterious plan.

Meanwhile, Frost’s agent is sharing quality whiskey with the Florida AD

I agree about our AD. I'd probably define myself as cautiously pessimistic in regards to what Currie is doing/will do.

However, I kinda think the Frost/UF thing is a little overrated at this point in time. Sure, UF can start backchannels now, but Frost and his agent aren't stupid. They know that the floodgates are about to open and silly season will start soon. I doubt they'll jump the gun.

Within the next month there's a pretty good chance that UF, UT, Auburn, aTm, and Nebraska (among some others I'm probably forgetting) will all have job openings. I'd be surprised if they jump the gun and close a deal before they see what opens up.

If nothing else, waiting for a few other jobs to open up gives Frost and his agent more bargaining power.

Edit: I don't mean to say that I think it's unlikely that Frost ends up at UF. I just think it's unlikely he does so before he sees what happens at some other places and looks around a bit.

Currie has made zero indication to me that Jones will not be here next year. It is obvious from his statements he doesn't really want to see him leave yet. Tennessee fans will apparently sit back and watch. Perhaps more losses will force his hand, but I'm not counting on it.

Basically, they say they will pay top dollar for a big name, but market value after that. Unfortunately, we are going to be down to the lower market names, and other programs will pay to get their guy while we save a bit of money to get our #4-5 guy.

I really think that Currie told Butch after the GA game that there would be no extension and he would be let go at the end of the year. It's pretty obvious since there has been no OV or tweets after that.

Butch should be playing for another good job but unfortunately he's really stinking up the place to an embarrassing degree. Now, it's just a horror show. Currie is going to have to fire him early. Everyone is wondering what the hold up is, and that is the real question.

Report: Antone Davis resigned from VFL Coordinator position due to a "hostile work environment."

The old players like Westmoreland wondering what is up-- Leonard Little with zip lips, etc.

Congratulations to the Houston Astros! Last night's game was not terrific, but the World Series as a whole was a terrific. Sadly, in about two months, we will only have the NBA, NHL and college basketball to keep us warm.

Currie was literally reaching out to coaches to gauge interest through Sexton less than a month after he was hired. Why do you think Butch fired his agent and hired a Sexton?

I already suggested we get serious discussing all the standard candidates named before Gruden sun blocked out everything. We would look like the actual insiders when it isn't Gruden...

If every life has a pinnacle, this is a pretty good one. It is only a little sad that he is probably too young to realize it and enjoy it to its fullest.
