I wish Currie would just fire Butch and hire whoever he's going to hire. I'm out here trying to hustle for tenure and I'm hitting refresh on this thread every 30 seconds.

There’s a difference between serving on a jury in a court of law and posting my beliefs on a message board. I’m surprised you didn’t know there was a difference. Did you get your law degree from hardee’s?

Based on the reporting that has come out so far I’m 99% sure butch played a guy that had a concussion. And he didn’t just put back on the field. He allowed him to play a whole half of football. That’s negligence in my opinion and that warrants him losing his job

Partially true. I resent the “irrational” part though. To me it looks pretty clear what butch allowed to happen and I think that it should be the nail in the coffin.

It happens a lot, because players hide injury symptoms because they want to stay in the game. It is only on him if Kendrick said something or if a staff member should have noticed. I don't that video in the article was definitive by any means.

Why defend or accuse over the BK thing at this point? We don't know. Let it play out, Currie will handle. I just pray BK recovers well.

One more thing, this Butch circus needs to end as soon as possible.

You have the right of free speech but not from the consequences of being ignorant.

I don't think Butch can be held strictly liable, but I am not going to explain to you what that means.

To think the backup QB won’t be needed for more than one play with four games remaining, including two against physical SEC defenses in LSU and Vandy? THAT would be stupid. :idea:

This concussion issue probably is related to the report that Sexton had finalized Jones' buyout. Currie now holds leverage that he didn't have a week ago.

I know Kendrick is concussed, but I think it’s probably a bad sign that he hasn’t had someone put a statement on social media for him. He is one of Butch’s main guys with media, and I feel like he would shut this down if it wasn’t true. Hopefully it gets cleared up soon, one way or another.

I've not been on the rush to judgement train but I think if Wells is at fault Butch is by default culpable to some extent. He is responsible for the conduct of his staff. How far you want to go on that is debatable. jmo.

I think Butch should have been fired weeks ago. But there's no need to allege malfeasance and misconduct to fire the man. The AD can terminate his contract at any time.
