They have to be being told something that's keeping them on the hook. Not sure what it is but it has to be something that they feel excited enough about to stay committed.

I’ve thought for a while it was that CBJ and staff were telling them they were being retained which I’m sure they are. But it’s amazing the class has held this strong.

I’ve predicted we will lose some when he’s fired. I’m not sure how many that will be. Really fascinating we still have 20.

It’s not out of the question. The sideline is super hectic. It’s not like a knee injury where everyone sees him go down etc.

You could be right but I really have a hard time believing it. These kids are not stupid. They have to know he's done. They have to be hearing it from other coaches. I suspect something else is up.

Makes you wonder if there are those behind the scenes telling them they know who their next coach will be.

The problem being he was out the whole second half and no one took away his helmet which should have been done. That's the first problem that lead into the on the field problem. You take away the helmet he's not in the field at all

The difference would have been that Hurd was reinserted into a game. Either by another coach or by Hurd who was not stripped of his helmet. If he was concussed then he shouldn’t have went back in. Again, doesn’t directly fall on CBJ but the coverup I guess could get him in trouble had it been addressed then.

All of this stuff is non issues to me because he’s on his way out and none of it is gonna stick to him. The people crying about it wouldn’t care about it if we were winning. Since we are losing people act like they care but in reality it’s all about going after their pound of flesh who is still coaching.

They probably aren’t being told the name yet, but as involuntary said, they are being told he is a huge name and elite coach, and someone they will most likely want to play for.

Is Dixon the 4* Safety from Baylor? We lost him and of course Cade is in limbo... it is good so far, but not sure how long this will last... hopefully they know a change/upgrade is coming.
