Some folks here may be able to relate to this...

In trying to work and keep up in this thread today, it occurred to me that it can be best described as trying to navigate a crowded grocery store. Trying to get up and down every isle looking for what you came for and need.

Well you my friend play the part of the little bur-headed, barefooted, dirt under-roo wearing 3yr old. Who is flopping around the floor in the cereal isle spilling his sippy cup of Mountain Dew and pitching a tantrum. We are just trying to "step over" you while looking for what we came for but your keep looking for attention and screaming at the top of your lungs.

Won't be long...along with a few others like those who insisted Butch was gone after KY but yet still finds people holding on to their every word. I guess some people enjoy the torture.

you're definetly making the AV evening news even if he has to create a funny pages section. It's all good given there ain't anything going on but PLEASE promise to keep up or practice in another testing forum when IT goes down !

I've never seen so many conflicting speculation in my life. One "insider" says Gruden is a lock...and been in plans for 5 years. Another says he's already been hired basically...then actual reporters say Currie has no intention of even firing Butch at all.

It concerns me that the only things we've heard Currie say publicly...and/or reported by people paid to report things...is that he is 100% on Butch's side and intends to keep him. Currie has said NOTHING to suggest Butch is even close to being gone.

I'm sorry. I wanna be on the Grude train and want to believe these anonymous "insiders" but the facts and what we are seeing play out suggest they are simply creative...and smart trolls who are just playing some sick game for their own amusement.

I'm all in for Gruden...but there is NOTHING substantial from anyone reputable suggesting anything "Grude" is going to happen.

Wasn't something "big" supposed to happen today according to these "insiders"?

Okay...and what was that exactly?

i already made up my mind that all that typing quote box stuff is too much trouble. that guy can avoid eye cancer by skipping my quoted quote or putting me on his own list.

eye hope he don't do that tho.

I've no doubt he's not coaching in 2018. I just have no clue why they are so stupid that they want it out in the media that Butch can possibly save his job.

But Currie's statement seems to say the doctors are the initiators of the testing. Why would players be told they won't be tested unless they go to doctors? I wonder what the trainers have been told?

Fans are talking about empty Neyland for Saturday. What do you think the response would be next year if they trotted Butch out there?

Put your thinking caps on people. Just because he isn't fired on your schedule, doesn't mean it's not happening.

You may be right. Maybe it is one of those things where you know you may be wasting your time, but you just can't walk away. :)

But I will say that the site is very useful for following recruits and I see news articles that are linked all the time, that I would have missed otherwise.

So sir, maybe you haven't figured it out. :thumbsup:

Since Gruden has his own cult thread going I think it's only fitting that everyone else who wants to talk logical about other coaching candidates without being attacked have their own thread. So, if you have a coach wish list post your thoughts here!:thumbsup:
