okay, i've been trying to figure out if you're pro-gruden or if you're in here trying to stir stuff up. please clarify.

Pro Gruden. Was here in 2012.

I believe pointing out insider information that doesn't match up with reality is not "trying to stir this stuff up".

I don't particularly care to hear anyone's opinion on this, and I don't use this thread as a random chat room.

If we stop caring whether any of the info is actually true, speculation gets posted as fact, and people run with it.

Then, those of us actually trying to deduct real information from what is posted here are unable to do that. Because the only things that get discussed are the things people want to hear.

This is just the kind of story ESPN would usually love to run on UT. If they continue to be silent, then that’s a pretty good indication they’ve been asked to hold off on it.

Try not to get into conspiracy stuff, but it is baffling that ESPN hasn't at least put this on their website.

If the BoT meeting itinerary posted a few days ago was correct and my memory serves me, the first big meeting is today at 3pm est. The other big meetings are tomorrow mid-morning and mid-afternoon. I expect to hear something either public or, more likely, insider related by Friday. I think the next 24 hours or so will decide a lot.

The new concussion news combined with an embarrassing turnout for homecoming could possibly speed up the timeline if these meetings go the way we want them to. Just my opinion.

It's not Saturday yet..I'll worry Saturday if he's on the sideline. Mainly for the players safety

There are mountains of evidence to demonstrate that Butch can't make in-game adjustments or put players in the best position to succeed, nor can he seem to recognize his most effective playmakers and then proceed to utilize them to an advantage. Do we really think he might take notice when he has a player who appears to be dazed/confused or at minimum not be functioning effectively? I don't buy that he knowingly played Kendrick through a concussion to give the team their best chance at winning either, because let's face it, Kendrick isn't so vitally important to the OL that his absence just can't be covered for. This is just another glaring example of Butch's coaching and game management ineptitude, and Brett Kendrick is the unfortunate victim.

If Butch didn't know, he should have known. He's already a dead man walking as HC. Ain't nobody falling on this sword for him.

i orginally thought the time and lz were locked for both events.

However, the unforeseen events relative to butch have forced the decision makers to reevaluate the first, which may, or may not, affect the 2nd.

We are getting to see what kind of crisis management skills currie has in his tool kit.

All this is jmo.

🤦

You haven't seen it that you're aware of. If it's done right you'd never know...especially if it wasn't at a program you follow closely.

I can only assume about the reasoning, and nobody wants to hear that. I have reasons to believe why, but nothing concrete about the time table. The only thing I have solid info on, and have said for weeks, is that the decision was made after Georgia.

I tend to believe it was done right in the beginning, but they didn't factor in losing the games the way we did.

Why question someone that will not speculate and only states what they know. Thank you, Boro.

It's a really strange situation especially when you're on the outside looking in. We're not seeing all the angles here and it's frustrating. best thing we can do is sit tight and wait it out as much as it sucks

It really is though, cause I don't see why he'd risk it.

Maybe for the bowl money? IDK, just no real good explanation as to why he'd risk everything for one win.
