Until it is announced to the public HE HAS NOT been fired!

You really think that? That’s hilarious. I was fired once and had a prominant leadership role. I worked for another month to allow them to find someone but also allowed me to search for a position while getting paid. They didn’t have to announce to the organization that I’d been let go. Happens all the time.

The only thing I seemed to notice was that Butch looked very lethargic and laid back... If his demeanor means anything, he looked like a defeated man to me

Had the look of defeat and just going thru the motions. I honestly can't believe he has held on this long. I bet his mental health is in terrible shape.

AV posted that Beaver seems to have a family connection, a legitimate inside source. Go back and re-read AV's posts. You guys are posting what you want the rest of us to think about Beaver and not what AV posted.

Not sure I remember MIT saying anything that hasn't come true. Maybe I missed something in the 150+k posts from the 1st to 23rd thread, but he's said numerous times he doesn't know the timeline. Not sure we can truly judge him on anything...... until we 1. don't have a coach and 2. see who we hire.

As far as Atlanta, pretty sure he posted the beaver "was "legit" a while back..

It took them a month to find a person to work the deep fryer at Burger King?

I hope Gruden is our next coach, but the “insiders” who post vague info instead of facts make it smell like a “Bigfoot is Real!” Message Board, complete with blurred sightings and sketchy “evidence.” But I still hope all of you are right. Better to just sit back, earn a living, and wait for it all to play out...unless, you consider this a form of entertainment. Grude on.

Both are indeed correct.

Would you prefer the phrase "he won't be coaching here next year"?

Would that be more appropriate to everyone's delicate sensibilities?
No we just prefer that when someone posts something as a fact here that it's actually true. Saying "Butch has been fired" or "the deal is done" is an unequivocal and bold faced lie. It's astonishing that people are defending this.

I noticed Hubbs got the first question, the ad probably wrote the questions and handed them to who they wanted to have ask them!

I thought he seemed defeated as well....he certainly looked like he would rather be anywhere but standing at that podium.

Just wait until Butch is gone the stories that will come out. I know first hand straight out of the mouth of a players mom. I grew up with this mom and she and her sister is very close to my family mainly my sister and my mom. If I really wanted to know the Kendrick truth, all I have to do is make one phone call to her as her son is very close with Brett and his family and they play the same position on the OL. This mom use to love Butch and told me the more she found out what kind of person he is then she started to dislike him and not trust him at all. She knows a lot, trust me!

But I'm not getting involved in this mess and will be just reading and lurking only because of some info I reported the other day here with a friend of mine who works in recruiting for 247sports.com and getting blasted over it. I don't blame DTO leaving!

Carry on and let the cards fall as they must! Sooner or later all this will come out, trust me when Butch is gone.

you're not getting involved, yet you explain who you know and what you know, and come in here and post about it.

thanks.

Yes. Hopefully a negotiated buyout is done with consequences for doing certain things, like burning a red shirt if QB1 helmet comes off.

We? You got a mouse in your pocket?Seems you are in the wrong place.

He's gone, and has been informed as such. I find it strange that the athletic department officials failed to notify you.

I realize that nashville media are not that bad once I hear Knox media talk. Same bs questions.

Every time I make this comment, I get roasted. But I'm going to say it again, the likely hood of Jones coaching the rest of the year is greater then him being fired mid season. Like it, don't like it...don't care. He's done, that should make people happy.
