Can someone explain the outsourcing bit being denied as whether it's good or bad for the Gruden hire?

I just never really grasped how it would make Haslam either more likely to fall in line or more likely to sabotage.

LOL.... Often imitated but never duplicated my friend. Larger than life and twice as ugly.... but I do have my moments I guess.

Oh, that's not what I meant at all. I was responding to a post that said wouldn't want G to have to deal with a bad bowl. I disagreed with that post, saying I thought he'd like the extra practices. :hi:

Whew being a VOL fan is rough sometimes...best to stay off FB, Twitter, Snapchat, eharmony, MySpace, Tinder, etc. I think I'll just stay in my little safe place of here.

Doyle's Grudometer = Meter for measuring how much belief Doyle has in Gruden coming to UT. Smells like a garbage truck

do not believe it was to make him fall in line...more or less to show him this is the way its going to be done with or without you.....just my opinion

Why in the world is Butch Jones still the coach? What does he have to do to get fired? I mean, seriously. Would rape or murder be enough? I am beginning to think not.

The indignities that this AD keep piling on our fan base is beyond ridiculous. And they wonder why the fans are starting an Empty Neyland campaign?

Please get your ish together, UT.

Just noticed something about Currie's press release this morning. In the last paragraph, he says "We have a constant and consistently communicated expectation that all coaches, staff and student athletes remain attentive..." I think he could be setting the stage to can Butch by saying he or his staff didn't meet those expectations by hiding Kendrick's symptoms from the team/third-party doctors at the game. JMO.

I want to believe. But I just can't. Need concrete evidence. So I'm in wait and see mode.

Besides, today just feels like every other day on Vol Nation. Some insiders speculating about big news possibly breaking and TODAY being the day Butch is gone. I highly doubt they fire him three days before a game. If anything, this train is going to be parked at the station until at least Saturday night. I doubt we get any serious information until this weekend.

Everyone is getting so worked up lol. But trust me, I feel your pain. I'm unbelievably anxious as well.

he didn't lie, per se. he said the only significant injury was Josh Smith. his definition of significant could simply mean potential surgery or season ending. a concussion doesn't normally fit that bill.
