Yep...we who have been here before know where it can go from there.

I wish there was a place to convene with just the OG's and Neo-Posivols. Those that bring negativity, and hateful chatter are just noise that ruin the rest of this, and cause good people to go elsewhere.

I’m don’t refularly post, rather just enjoy reading comments. Boro, please keep posting. Don’t let negativity get in the way of sharing your info. Appreciate your insight.

STATEMENT FROM TENNESSEE VICE CHANCELLOR/DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS JOHN CURRIE

"The health and safety of our student-athletes is our number one responsibility. Our sports medicine staff and team medical personnel have full autonomy and unquestioned authority during all team activities, including the ability to remove a player from competition and 'return to play' decisions. At all football games, the Southeastern Conference has a trained independent medical observer present who also has full authority to stop play and remove a student-athlete from competition for assessment and/or treatment.

"We have a constant and consistently communicated expectation that all coaches, staff and student-athletes remain attentive to ensure that any potential injuries are appropriately addressed-with full intentions that student-athlete safety is never compromised."

Did this just come out?

Is this from the last few minutes?

We have really poor sports media for such an active market. When you add to the equation how much control Butch has personally wielded with the media during his tenure here, it's almost unlistenable. True journalism is dead outside of alternative media.

This. Our media needs to grow a set and start drilling Lyle. But they are mindlessly controlled by the AD and act like they are scared to lose their credientals. Smh

2nd time I'm asking for prayers. Preacher, you're up..in the waiting room at the hospital while the Mrs. is having a small biopsy done (think pink ribbon) to verify it isn't cancerous. It's precautionary and we were told not to worry but there is power in prayer.

Lifting the wife and yourself up in prayer Hawkpilot, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

I’m caught up after browsing last nights posts, hawkpilot synopsis, etc. One question, what did I miss about Davenport and outsourcing? I must have missed that and don’t want to try and wade through the crap to find it.

Here's a suggestion for SFD, Hawk and others if you desire a career change. I recommend you guys put your sleuthing skills to work and establish the Vol Nation Detective Agency. You can provide your services to all collegiate (or pro) fan bases during coaching searches/changes. I think this could be a lucrative endeavor.

Yesterday bev's office released a statement that the Knoxville campus would not be outsourcing the facilities management. This goes expressly against the wishes of the governor...her boss. Hubbs tweeted out the statement which is uncharacteristic and indicates he was told to. It may be the first signal that stuff is getting done.

This is what I enjoy the most in these threads. Everyone coming together for what is really important. Sure I love the University of Tennessee as much as anyone and want us to be successful in every sport and be a top university academically as well but in the grand scheme things that is not very important at times like this. Wish you and your family the very best. Prayers sent and God Bless!

Hahaha...I doubt everyone else is quite as dramatic.

Could be a push from the Gruden camp... pressure

Edit: Mike Lombardi was a Senior Personnel Executive for Raiders 1998-2007. Gruden obviously was head coach part of that time. No idea if they are close. Just a theory.

Hide your chain. Debo is coming!
