Certainly. I wonder where freak is on getting us that password protected thread. :)

Freak could do this and also make private messaging a “premium content” addition for a fee.
That way he can afford the whirlybird to park on his new yacht with the leather upholstery.
Think about it freak - dollar bills!

Of course he would comp ole sobe for the idea!

How about all you Grudenites create your own message board devoted to this fantasy and stop emabarassing the rest of us

Fade, why are you even in here. I'm pretty much just lurker, check my stats, this thread is created to discuss The Great Grude. You telling these fine people to run off to a other message board make as much sense as a dumb redneck yelling at African Americans and telling them they should go back home. We are all VOLS, so why don't you just run back to your side of the forum and piss off. Thanks.

I'm disappointed no one followed me on Twitter last night so I can't share my big, sup3r s3cr37 n3wz.

SAD!

Chris Low is such a goober. He lives in Knoxville and thinks it's edgy to dirty Tennessee every chance that he gets. Fake news

We have really poor sports media for such an active market. When you add to the equation how much control Butch has personally wielded with the media during his tenure here, it's almost unlistenable. True journalism is dead outside of alternative media.

STATEMENT FROM TENNESSEE VICE CHANCELLOR/DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS JOHN CURRIE

"The health and safety of our student-athletes is our number one responsibility. Our sports medicine staff and team medical personnel have full autonomy and unquestioned authority during all team activities, including the ability to remove a player from competition and 'return to play' decisions. At all football games, the Southeastern Conference has a trained independent medical observer present who also has full authority to stop play and remove a student-athlete from competition for assessment and/or treatment.

"We have a constant and consistently communicated expectation that all coaches, staff and student-athletes remain attentive to ensure that any potential injuries are appropriately addressed-with full intentions that student-athlete safety is never compromised."

What are your thought on what is currently happening with our football program and what do you see likely happening given your sourced knowledge?

He is a big friend to Fulmer and has been anti-Tennessee since we fired Fulmer. Not an objective reporter at all in my opinion.

Good morning! I wanted to quote something you wrote, but not your dissertation. Here are my thoughts on that:
-obviously, good, meticulous work. I'd expect no less.
-as I've said many times now. There are wildcards, but Gruden's not one of them. I can immediately dismiss any report about "He said no." It simply isn't true.
- talking about the war between boosters and admin. I don't think it is an accident that we get bad news at the same time each day. The admin side is attempting to do what the boosters have done with Bubba and MIT, except the admin is using people in the office with other stuff to do. MIT and bubba are watching everything we say. I believe they are hired professionals, in some way.
- the Haslam stuff reminds me why I don't want to be in politics. I don't want to need to scratch anyone's back. Ever.
-perhaps you are right that he caught wind of bev's decision on outsourcing. I'm hoping that yesterday evening's flurry of activity demonstrates that it is simply the first chip to be cashed in. I'm convinced that hubbs tweeted that because he was told to. I believe it really may have been the white smoke from the chimney.
- I know that the Haslams and the corkers are connected politically and personally, but I'm not sure that corker's presidential bid is a factor here. I just think the Haslam name can't be drug through the mud because of anyone's future in politics.
-PM adds value in so many ways. He is an instant unifier in any contentious negotiations. Plus, he is able to provide sweat equity that is of greater value than his monetary donations might be. Add to it that he is a scarabbean and his clout grows immeasurably.

-last night's message from the Beav really was a gift to me. I said yesterday that the Beav speaks to those that are here for hope, and bubba speaks to those that are here for the problem solving. But the Beav spoke to the problem solvers last night. What he was saying, really, is that the boosters have pocket aces for each hand of poker they are playing/each primary stakeholder. The AA cannot walk away from a deal that includes a VC firm in silicon valley funneling research to a school that aims to be a top 30 public research university. As a graduate from the college of engineering, I appreciate that the boosters brought in this piece.

The boosters have quite literally thought of everything. This is why they are billionaires today.

Thank you. You and Hawk have been "bringing it" and I appreciate the effort. Once I started down the "why" road, Y'all (you, Hawk, HereforGrude, and a couple others) allowed me to enjoy the thread, on its own merit, without getting OCD on the details. Again, thanks.

This is very very true. Same with past administrations too. I used to go to a lot of practices and they would run warm up type drills for the first hour then the those with media credentials had to leave then the real practice would start. It was almost as if the media covered them playing pitch and catch and basic drills but didn't see much of the actual play execution.
