I took the "Pocket Aces" reference to be boosters withholding funding needed for AD projects unless they fall in line. Just my opinion...

Same here..there was a random reference to it as a date..not sure how tightly it was to a date as per say...SOON

Are you sure about that? I was told he was on the sideline during the Soddy vs Catholic game earlier this season.

I know. I’m simply saying some dates might have relevance, some might not. But when you throw dates on here, people expect something to be announced on said dates. All I’m saying is you’ll see The same thing tomorrow as today if nothing is announced...and I don’t see any reason it will be announced tomorrow and not today.

I think even after he takes the UT job he'll still probably finish out MNF for the year. He may not even be on the field for us this year.

Just my opinion though.

Pocket aces would be two Aces in hand, a guaranteed pair of the highest card in the deck. It's not unbeatable but means you have really good odds and can dictate the game.

I agree, completely. There have been too many people talking about this date, and talking about a "Tuesday."

However, I'm not convinced of something happening tomorrow being a true harbinger moment. It could be a whisper that grew, it could be significant. I'm not going to lose faith until I'm told directly by Currie on camera.

We were also told by almost all of the insiders that they didn't have information about the timing. The core group (boro, ATL, MIT, bubba, DTO) all were consistent in that point. The more recent leaks point to the 31st, but I'm not positive that's a defining moment.

The only party that I imagine has a hard date for announcing is ESPN.
