Hello! I had to pick up my kids from church, and now I have to put them to bed. But, I caught up. I'm kind of glad about the false alarm because it helped clean out the trash!
Tasty... you were upset this morning. I was just trying to help you through!
Go Vols!
John Gruden appears like a mastermind of football because his only job is watching, analyzing, and commenting on football. Literally, that's all he gets paid to do. When you are a head coach you have to 1. Recruit 2. Deal with media 3. Manage your staff 4. COACH 5. Deal with administration 6. Mentor these young athletes. 6. And a bunch of other stuff
John Gruden is the "shiny" new thing in folks minds. Magical thinking . Let's hire this guy because all these things will fall in place just because of his persona.
High risk hire. He doesn't need the money. He hasn't coached college in decades. Fired from last coaching job as he didn't develop talent. Had strained relationships with players. Will this guy actually be hungry to do the work it takes? 70-80 hour weeks.
Someone actually started a thread offering the solution of bringing chief back, hire an offensive genius and let the admins really look for great assistants. Keep butch as coach and recruiter so we can save the 20 million were going to lose. What th...? Are people outside of this thread really that stupid??

All good points. That list is almost as impossible for Gruden as a Super Bowl win.
Oh wait....
