Not a rumor. 100% confirmed.

It's a shame. The downfall of Butch Jones will ultimately be due to one fact: just left too many helmets lying around.

Let's face it, helmets are a real danger to everone playing this sport.

I like Butch but I really don’t care what he says anymore. I’m like Ziti believe he gets baited into these headline quotes.

He’s gone. We all know it and I believe he knows it. No need for media to keep setting him up so everyone can pile on.

Reason 452 as to why he wasn’t ready for this job.

just dont pay attention to this program anymore. Dont get too invested.....like i dont even get mad anymore. Im just too exhausted from all the non stop drama and losing that it makes me kind of dislike the program. Sad to say it but something has to change and it seems like that will NEVER happen.

Why not say something like this? In the past we have had great success against Kentucky. Saturday we hope to continue by getting the W. I am sure they are going to play hard and are a good football team. Regardless of the opponent on any given day, we play for the W for our team and the students and fans of the University of Tennessee. Regardless, I think winning should be the goal of every team.

Agree. It doesn’t matter what he says. They are listening to every word waiting to tweet out click bait.

He can’t give a perfect response to everything. Part of the problem is that he tries to do that very thing.

Yeah he isn't exactly confident in his team either. If he was then easier to say Ky has improved every year but we are TN and we are supposed to win these games as that is our expectation.

No doubt. I've said it before and I'll say it again - there's a purge coming with whatever coach takes the job. Which is why any schedule prediction at this juncture are asinine.

Sometimes, with just a few grams, it's not even diversion. Go to a drug class and can get it dismissed. Even though it's still illegal, some DA's are letting go of cases with small amounts of marijuana.

Crazy part is these were all supposed to be good kids part of his character profile. They probably are but when you lose trust then what can you do. I bet we have some leaders somewhere but when they aren't on field it's hard to lead from bench

Maybe that was part of the problem at some point in time, but at this point it does not matter at all what he says or does not say, or tries or tries not to do. Every single time he talks, the media and our fan base finds something stupid to take out of context and ridicule him for.
