That's probably true but he'd take less money to coach at Nebraska. Just my opinion.

If we want him we need to get to him before the Nebraska job opens.

He’s an active coach. We’re not going to be able to interview him any earlier than any other school...much less “get him”.

That's what I'm thinking too. Too much noise.

There’s a reason schools ask for permission from a coach’s current school. What self-respecting coach gets married via dial-a-date?

I am not suggesting we do it here but there are a number of coaches Currie should say to the agent no need to talk it's his job if he' wants it for x amount of $.

Doesn’t happen and won’t happen. His alma mater has a job opening and no way he refuses to even INTERVIEW with them.

I'm believing the Gruden stuff for now. It's just more fun that way. For some reason I believed MIT_Beaver right away. His posts just seemed far more convincing and confident than most "Gruden is coming....soon....I think" type posts we've seen this go-around and in 2012. Atlanta_Vol corroborating some of his claims helped make him even more believable.

If he doesn't come, meh, I'll be disappointed for a day and then fully back whoever the next coach is. Even if it's Satterfield.

If you follow the timeline last year I think it happened with Herman at both LSU and Texas. Either that or he interviewed during his regular season.

Atlanta_Vol dropping those bombs was awesome. How can you not get excited and swept up in that?

Absolutely, it could. I don't think it is but I'm also a believer that Gruden is likely our next coach (if our admin doesn't screw it up). If I weren't a believer I'd think it was bs.

Where there's smoke, it's becuase our admin just dumped water on the fire.

It's always odd to see people say a coach at Ms St wouldn't do better at a school like TN yet also think TN is a better job. It's a better job for a reason. Easier to recruit to. Easier to win at. Easier half of the conference. So if you think the school is better it's safe to say he would do better at said school.

You saw what Mullens Offense could do at Florida with those athletes and what happened once he left there Urban retired once wheels fell off. It was prolific at Utah as well. The guys QB list is as impressive as it gets for this system. Alex Smith, Tebow, Cam newton. Dak and now Fitzgerald. You can win a lot of games with a dude that can find QBs like that as long as you get him a big time D.C.

The bad thing on mullen is his former AD is now at Florida. Does he mutual part ways with Mac and bring his guy over if he thinks TN is going to grab him
