Actually I do, since, you know...its a public forum and I can read your posts. My skin is fine because it doesnt hurt my fefes when people are mean. But Ill stop derailing the thread now since there are coaching searches to stress over.

I’ll admit to getting swept up in the Gruden thread for a short spell. But then .... idk what the right word is, per se, common sense kicked in?

I don’t think anyone really knows anything. Although I can’t figure the motivation behind spending so much time and energy trolling a fan base.

I agree. It's a weird thing going on and I'm right there with everyone else. I'm just done.

I'm sure, we will look back on Butch and he will be remembered fondly. He worked his butt off, he just isn't the guy to get us to the next level.

What has killed Butch, IMO, is both how utterly inept and embarrassing this team looks. Coupled with his out of touch sound bites and it’s indicative of a guy in way over his head.

Roster mismanagement doesn’t help either.

Well for a minute we had lws saying we would go after him, matts was all 😁, jav n hutch were optimistic, etc. It was fun for a week or so.

If he loses to Kentucky and Vandy the chances of this will drop dramatically. Agree with giving him a pat on the back.

It was the Haynesworth and Sutton tweets that reeled me in. Then the guys like Beaver being so cocksure was just the icing. It was fun, and I want to believe. I desperately want UT to be a national power again.

Still holding out hope for Gruden. But IMO Scott Frost would get us back as well.

The same reliable posters are still reliable. It's the new guys that are bull****ting for fun.

Larry knows what he's talking about. Much like at the beginning of the season when he predicted a 6-6 record, people don't want to listen to him now because the names he's listing are more pessimistic than others want you to believe.

It's comical to see all these players and coaches talk about "get behind us as we try to get to a bowl game." No. That is not the standard here. Butch has thoroughly brainwashed this entire program.

I feel bad for the players and appreciate the tough spot they're in, but we should not be scratching for a bowl in any coach's 5th year.

Completely agree. It’s the reason he is always talking down our potential, we are always young, half the team has not been on a plane, “woe is me” attitude.

He has tried to make Bowl games the standard. It isn’t. He’s lowered expectations.
