Met Larry at a game before. He wears a jersey with LWSVol on the back. He isn't in the media. Good trusted guy for as long as I can remember.

I think he is telling us what he believes to be accurate, as he stated. I think the conventional wisdom is that Gruden is not going to coach college football here or anywhere so it's not going way out on a thin limb to state that. So far, I am only aware of second hand reports. I hope that Currie realizes that we don't need another b.s. introductory presser where we pretend that some retreaded MAC coach was our first choice. He needs to convince us that he asked all the big dogs, offered them whatever it was going to take and then some, and they still turned us down before we accept a Frost-level candidate.
