Nobody knows anything. Think about the AD job search. How many of us --- or ANY of the self-proclaimed insiders --- thought John Currie would be our AD? The occasional lucky poster will have true insider info but that's few and far between.

And even if you think LWS has real information, all he ever reports is negative news. He's the biggest buzzkill on VN. Just stay away.

Focus on the firing. As soon as Currie follows through firing Butch, I think we can assume he's narrowed his options down and has a real shot at a replacement.

Until then, support the players. I truly feel sorry for them. They give their hearts, souls, and bodies to the program while this idiot is running them into the ground. It's heartbreaking.

LWS, do you get the sense that UTK is ready to go all in like Bama did to draw Saban. Not just talking about paying a head coach a near record salary for himself and his assistants, but to double down on operations expenditures by setting up a whole battalion of "non-coaching" football analyst positions? Hate to boil it down to a crude, blunt question but do you think our administration and persons of significant influence care as much as much about winning football games as their counterparts at schools like UGA, UF, Bama, etc?

LWSVOL is not a member of the media. He is fan and a booster gas has been connected to the program for 30 years.

LWS doesn't really try to hide his identity. Plenty of us know who he is. I've met him a couple of times. It's one of the reasons I trust what he says. His info is only as good as what he is told, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't just make stuff up for 'e-cred'.
