A thread for looking at w/l records and in season results of potential coaching candidates. I will also try to outline sources for their consideration. Assistance is appreciated.

I have started with some realistic names LWS and others have tossed out there. The unfavorable guys are in here for laughs or tears in beers if we go that route.
(See also post 18 & 19 for some sourcing of names)

If there is a pie in the sky guy you like add them in.

Mullen - my new #1 if others are out
Fuente - rumored unwilling to leave
Frost - on LWS list not on VIN's
Mike Gundy
Kyle Whittingham
Norvell
Durkin
Brohm
Brown
Venables - not on VIN's

Never said you couldn't express any opinion. I just answered your question. I think we are all concerned. My only problem is that all of your posts sound like you're screaming at somebody. I agree that we are all Vols' fans and want what's best for the program. We just have a great many different opinions on how to do that.

Total: 42–28


2016
Finished 10-4 and ranked 16. Losses were to us, Syracuse, GT, and Clemson.

Scored 30+ 9 times. Beat Arkansas in the belk bowl.

2017
Only loss this year is to a number 2 Clemson.

Has scored 30 three times this year, hung 60 on ECU, and shutout Old Dominion.

I'm just sick and tired of our once proud football team becoming a national punchline. And all the while UT is raking in the revenue from us trying to be loyal to the team. It's a slap in the face to all fans. You are obviously able to handle it more calmly.

Only on here. I almost had a seizure when they overturned JK's TD and we had a false start right after.

Maybe UT will show interest in Chip Kelly. Guy posted this in the FF:

I knew the minute it was reviewed we would somehow end up with zero points and sure enough... the hits keep on coming. We need and deserve some damn good news in the form of Butch leaving and a homerun hire coming.
