IMO, they are waiting to hype the "new and improved" Team 121 led by Brady Hoke for the So Miss game. It's all about pumping up ticket sales for next home game. If they ax Butch this week and we turn around and lose to KY, attendence would be significantly less than if it's Hoke's first game.

IMO, that's why it's done on Monday. He does his show tonight and then they fire him Monday. That way, an interim doesn't have to do the show and can start preparing for next week.
