Ok..I think my early exit was a bit premature..Done a lot of thinking and read a little bit more and come to my own conclusions..

Same here, and I'm in North AL. It's become sad. This game used to be one of the biggest games of the year now it's just another beat down from Bama. We need a Grude coach to send the midget into retirement.

? That line of thought I do not understand. We say look at Kelly and Saban and how they did in the NFL, and the NFL is not indicative of success in the NCAA, yet we throw Fisher’s success (and lack thereof) against him?

That being said, there is no way they're going to say anyone turned down or accepted the offer, if an offer was made if Jones is still employed. Not publicly. Only way they make an offer is if they did what DTO said, and have signed papers of an agreement of termination/resignation.

As far as LWS, nothing against him personally, and I know he brings good information, BUT he admittedly said that he wasn't as connected as before, and I took it because he posts in here, and they realize that's where there's a leak. Couple that with what thought I read was some sort of post he made positive about something(can't remember) but then it was said his account was "hacked," I find it convenient that on a beatdown day, people are all of a sudden showing up saying there's no Gruden, when everyone in the AD knows that fans are going to be screaming for Butch's head right now, don't let him on the bus out of Alabama.

So basically, I'm taking the newest "no" rumors with a grain of salt.

Interesting take.... thanks... I hadn't thought about this... going to sleep on this tonight and consider it's merits
