As for frost, why do the mid major thing again? He may turn out to be good but people thought he same thing with butchie. He had 11-2 & 10-3 records, won conf championships and he turned out to be a tool in this conference. We’re out of time for experiments. This just sucks. I don’t even enjoy Saturday anymore.

My take on the reason Currie wants to put out misinformation is twofold...1) There is no job opening but he is not ignorant to the fact that everyone is talking about Gruden and imo he wants that to be kept quiet out of respect for Butch. 2) He wants to make a Splash hire and look like a rockstar...thats hard to do when everyone already knows what is going to happen.

Well first off I'm not the "T"hamilton dude, and admittedly don't know anyone or anything.

That being said, there is no way they're going to say anyone turned down or accepted the offer, if an offer was made if Jones is still employed. Not publicly. Only way they make an offer is if they did what DTO said, and have signed papers of an agreement of termination/resignation.

As far as LWS, nothing against him personally, and I know he brings good information, BUT he admittedly said that he wasn't as connected as before, and I took it because he posts in here, and they realize that's where there's a leak. Couple that with what thought I read was some sort of post he made positive about something(can't remember) but then it was said his account was "hacked," I find it convenient that on a beatdown day, people are all of a sudden showing up saying there's no Gruden, when everyone in the AD knows that fans are going to be screaming for Butch's head right now, don't let him on the bus out of Alabama.

So basically, I'm taking the newest "no" rumors with a grain of salt.

What happened to the LWS post about Currie being hired to be controled by a sepecfic booster, instead of Blackburn and Fulmer?
I can't find it anywhere now...

Last year, LSU wanted Herman and Texas got him. If Frost ends up winning out, which looks very possible, what he has done at UCF is more impressive than what Herman did at Houston. If we get Frost, we've made a better hire than LSU last year, and maybe even better than Texas.

I am of the line of thinking that Currie is using Butch's name being dragged through the mud the rest of the year with full amount vs. leaving now with a lump sum payout at a lower amount.
If am am Butch's agent I would try to save face. He is already a laughing stock. Can you imagine what it looks like if we continue to lose?

Misinformation because of laws about an AD approaching a potential coach while one is still employed.
