Dunno. They'll tier the list like everybody expects and make the big names say no. There aren't many home runs out there, but there are some good prospects and I think we'll make a good pitch.

If none of the top tier names will make a move and we don't see a good fit with a sitting P5 coach, we'll look at the best of the G5s. JMO.

Personally, if I were going to troll, I would've made the numbers higher. $6.5M/6 + $5M is a little optimistic. We'd have to throw in plenty of perks-- life insurance policies, lake houses for all Cindy's cousins, etc.

Don't forget the lack of a state income tax.

This is absurd. Gruden is not coming here. We went through this 5 years ago and people are falling for it all over again.

It's fine to enjoy the Grumors because it's good drama, but I fear a lot of people are going to take it way too seriously and end up being resentful of whoever we hire.

Honestly, if people resent the hire, it will likely be because the hire sucks, not becuase they wanted Gruden and no one else.

People wouldn't resent Chip Kelly for not being Gruden.

People would absolutely resent a Mike Bobo hire whether they bought into the Grumors or not.

Not that it wouldn't be amazing. Of course it would be amazing. But I'm not holding my breath after 5 years ago, when it was a "done deal" at about 20 different points, media were reporting an offer had been made, etc. etc.
