I know that the current rumor is that JG bring JBC on as OC...which I don't think would ever happen...but I think Tee would be a cool possibility. This place would go absolutely crazy.

Boro thanks to you and DTO and others for giving us fans some hope and optimism. I do have a question that would just be your opinion..this being different than 2012...anything that you think would derail the hire this time? Obviously him not being interested would do it , but I mean if he is really interested what would be biggest hang up?

Gruden is no stranger to this program. He has visited numerous times at games and at practice. Every time he is at practice or a game he is supporting some kind of vols gear. Even in his social media pictures when he wishes vols good luck he has some vols gear on.

My question- why would he not be wearing anything Saturday while at the game. He had on FFCA visor and a black shirt. He loves the vols this is no secret why not have some sort of orange on? No power T, nothing. And why wouldn't he be/on the field? He has been before. He and Butch have had dealings before and he was on the field. Seems like to me if I'm Butch i want him on the field just for recruiting purposes!

I'm just sitting back looking at the situation with Gruden with realistic glasses (don't get me wrong i want him here and i am hoping you guys with knowledge aren't bs us) but it just seems odd to me that he was where he was sitting and not having any UT stuff on!!

Just an observation...

I brought this up early this week. I think it was to show respect to Butch IN CASE he ever took the job. Imagine him taking the job and a month prior he was on the sidelines wearing UT gear, while Butch was still the head coach? It's not a good look. It's also disrespectful to the current head coach, whom by all indications, Gruden has a pretty good relationship with.

I took him trying to blend in as a very good sign.

Keep in mind...I've never yet predicted Gruden to the Hill. I learned my lesson about concrete predictions last time around. I'm as hopeful as anyone though, and a lot (all) of what I'm hearing points at that....more than last time.

Like has been said by others, the only thing that will keep him away this time is himself. I believe UT has committed to getting him.

Me too. There has to be a reason why he didn't wear anything related to UT to that game, when he has done so in the past.
